Well Hello There Mr. Officer... Part 2
So last week, my dad got pulled over by a cop. He was going 70 in a 35 zone (or something close to that... I forget the particulars). I guess the cop was feeling particularly forgiving that day, because he let Pops off with just a warning. Talk about LUCKY! I mean, seriously! You can get your licence taken away for going 20 over the speed limit.
Now comes the question.
Are you a smooth talker? Can you get yourself out of a speeding ticket? Or, if you're like me and have never been pulled over, what do you think you'd do?

Nope, my nervousness comes across as attitude and I admit guilt too quickly.
I was clocked going about 30+ over the speed limit in a constructuion zone AND I admitted at having a beer with dinner and the TWO cops who pulled me over let me off with a warning. I was in such a happy/good mood, it must have spread, they let me go with a warning but they couldn't keep a straight face with me.
I've been pulled over a couple of times but I was so nervous, I think the cop felt sorry for me.
back awhile ago, i blogged at "mommyhood" about getting lost in Philly and accidentally running a red light.
i just told them that i wasnt from the area but was from lancaster county, and they let me go!!! i think they pictured me being from the middle of nowhere that has no big roads and just horse-and-buggies everywhere.
